The exhibition is located in the 19th century interior of the tower pressure of Bielany water station. The tower with the old hall after a major refurbishment of pumps have been adapted to perform the functions of exhibition, educational and cultural institutions.

The exhibition refers to the history and the present day of municipal engeneering of Toruń. It allows to track the evolution of technology since the early days of history of Toruń to the present day. Moreover the proecological character of the exhibitions allows to inform of the risks associated with the current scale of consumption of different types of energy resources and environmental pollution.
